The birthplace of Sri Sri Ramakrishna . Highly hallowed shrine ( it is built on the exact spot where Sri Sri Thakur was born ) . Temple for Sri raghuvir tutelary diety of Sri Sri Thakur is enshrined in a separate shrine . Kamarpukur Math is the birth place of Sri Ramkrishna Paramhamsaa. Kamarpukur, the then an unknown village of Hooghly district in West Bengal is the birth place of the great religious prophet, Sri Ramakrishna, where the math has been built. Thousands of devotees visit it every year from the various parts of the world and get spiritually refreshed and elevated. The beautiful temple of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, has been built in 1951 with his marble statue installed in it. The place has become one of the beauty spots in the locality with the construction of guest houses, a library, a dispensary and schools and the re-excavation of the Haldarpukur tank. I visited the place on 17th Februrary, 2018, the birthday of Sri Ram Krishna.
